Open Question: Where should I travel to near barneville and honfleur France?

I am going to France w my boyfriend for two Weeks. We will stay in barneville for a bit so we will go to Honfleur (recommendation from a friend) but where else should we go? We plan to visit Paris to so suggestions of places and things to see or do near honfleur and Paris and in between would be lovely. Also places to stay. our budget including flight is 3000 US$ each so 6000 for both of us. Would renting an aparment for a week somewhre be good. Or hostels? I just dont want it to be gross, I want it to b fun and romantic. My bf and I are just graduating (we r 22) and itll b the first time we r not overloaded w work and school and can just spend time w each other. p.s.
