My biggest dream in life is to be able to travel the world. I plan on following in the footsteps of my 7th grade world geography teacher, except I'm not sure if I want to be a teacher yet. She has been to all the continents including Antarctica (she worked there for 2 summers). I want to do the same. I am considering becoming a diplomat, and most definitely want to do the Peace Corps as well (she did that too, in Moldova). I plan on studying abroad in college, and want to study French in France the summer before my Senior year in high school. I am wondering what would be some good classes and/or activities to take to achieve my dream. It can be anything, programs to look at, classes, school clubs. Also, when I say I want to travel, althouth I would like to see the touristy spots, I am MUCH more interested in really being immersed in other cultures and learning about their ways of life. Any of these things would be appreciated: *Colleges that would be good for my goal *Activities, programs, and/or classes for me to do * Possible careers for me to think about *Suggestions on how to speed up learning a language, although I'm determined no matter how long it takes *Ways to look more attractive to colleges I may want to consider *Things that give me a better chance of getting into the Peace Corps *Any other tips on how to achieve my dream...
